Having seen a likely seat with Toyota dashed by the Japanese manufacturer’s withdrawal, and having been linked with F1 2010 newcomer Lotus, it now seems Kamui Kobayashi is entertaining the possibility of a top flight future with Renault…
“For next year, I think my manager has been talking to other teams,” he confessed, speaking to GP Update, “but to be honest, I want to take a break now. I will go back to Europe in December to speak about the upcoming season – so for now, I don’t know what will happen next year.”

We will find out today 16/12 (I hope) whats happening. Renault should be making a statment today regarding their future in F1. If they are partisipating I hope they name their second driver also

I have heard about Kobayashi-san has just signed Sauber team to race in 2010 Formula One Championship in Finnish News. Can someone confirm that news is not rumor? It’s great news for Kobayashi fan around the world. He will be in better car than Lotus. Sauber team will use Ferrari engine for 2010 and Sauber formula one team has history of producing Formula One Champion like Michael Schumacher. It’s true it must be X’mas present for Kobayashi-san and his fans. Good luck to Kobayashi-san
