Sauber has announced the hiring of Japanese as a race driver Kamui Kobayashi in the FIA Formula 1 World 2010.
“Ever since the start of my career I have dreamed of racing in Formula 1,” said Kobayashi.
Kobayashi is the first driver to join the team, which is back in the ownership of founder Peter Sauber after BMW withdrew from F1 at the end of the 2009 season.

WOOHOO!!
I’m SO thrilled about this! After seeing Kamui’s drive in the last two races and watching him dice with Jenson Button, I became a fan! Button thinks he’s crazy, but I think he’s lost something. You think that just because you’re the 2009 champion he’s supposed to kiss your ass and move over when there are points at stake? No way! Kamui is a big dose of what I think is good for F1, and he’s got my vote!
But there’s so much more going on! I live in Southern California in the USA, so by default I’m a USF1 fan, AND rumors of Schumacher driving with Rossberg and Mercedes- That’s really exciting too. I’m not going to know who to cheer for!
